Everything here is free, and we intend to keep it that way. If the village has been useful to you and you’re in a position to help, this is how.
Our Special Village is a passion project. It is built and maintained by local parents raising children with disabilities, in the hours around therapy appointments, IEP meetings, and everything else that fills a week like ours.
Keeping it current takes real time. Provider information changes, funding windows open and close, programs come and go, and someone has to check. We think families deserve to find accurate information without wading through anything else to get to it.
So the site is ad-free, and everything on it is free. No banner ads, no sponsored listings dressed up as recommendations, no paywall, no login, no “upgrade to read the rest.” That is a deliberate choice, and we intend to keep it.

What a Village Supporter is
Voluntary monthly support at $5, $10, or $25 — or choose your own amount, up or down. Monthly is the version that actually helps most, because it makes the boring recurring costs predictable.
Supporters at $10/month and up get every Village Hall session included — that’s the monthly expert class, the one thing here that isn’t free. Beyond that, there is no supporter tier of the site: no content is ever withheld from anyone. Supporters aren’t buying access, because there is nothing to buy access to.
The plain facts, before you give
- Our Special Village is run by Little Luminaries Therapy Services, PLLC, and is not a registered nonprofit, so support is not tax deductible.
- Nobody who supports the village gets better directory placement, a Village Pick, or a mention in a guide.
- Donations cover hosting, the tools that run the site, and the time it takes to keep information current — checking provider details, tracking funding windows, and rewriting what changed.

And if the answer is no
That is completely fine. Reading the site, showing up to group, and telling one other parent we exist are all real support. If money is tight, you are exactly the family this was built for — take what you need and don’t think about this page again.
