Our Special Village is free for every family who uses it, and there are no ads on it anywhere. A small number of local businesses make that possible — and get seen by the families who most need to know they exist.
Why this exists
Everything on this site is free: the guides, the provider directory, the events calendar, the newsletter. No paywall, no login, and no banner ads — because a parent searching at 11 PM for help with their child shouldn’t have to scroll past advertising to find it.
Sponsorship is how we keep that promise without charging families. It pays for hosting, tools, and the hours it takes to keep local information accurate. In exchange, your business is credited plainly — as a supporter of the village, not as a recommendation we’re selling.
What sponsors get
- Your logo and a link on this page, where families come to see who keeps the village running.
- Placement in the site footer, on every page of the site.
- A mention in the monthly newsletter, inside a clearly labeled sponsor block — labeled so readers always know exactly what they’re looking at.
- Optional event underwriting, if you’d like your support pointed at something specific the community can show up to.
What sponsorship does not buy
- A listing or better placement in the provider directory. That is earned by being useful to families, and nothing else.
- A Village Pick. Those come from parents telling us what actually worked.
- A mention inside a guide. Guides link what helps a family, full stop.
- Editorial say. No review of drafts, no input on what we write or who we name.
Our recommendations are not for sale, and that is exactly why families trust them. We also do not accept sponsorships from therapy providers, for the same reason.
We keep this to a small number of sponsors so that each one is actually seen. If the spots are full when you write, we’ll say so and tell you when that changes — no waiting list theater.
