About — Our Special Village
A village for families like ours
Built by a local parent who was tired of watching families navigate disconnected systems alone.
Dr. Taylor Hickok, M.S., DBH, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist, a neurodivergent adult, and a parent raising a neurodivergent child. She created Our Special Village to make trustworthy local information, practical guides, and real community easier to find.
